Introducing Slay the Day Coaching!

Well hello there! Welcome to Slay the Day Coaching and the wonderful world of achieving your goals, prioritizing your tasks and time and simplifying your spaces and things.

My name is Jill, and I am a natural-born organizer. I kept a clean bedroom and toy area my whole childhood. I remember using Sucrets tins to store Barbie shoes. I had all the accessories in plastic containers with lids. I kept play sets together. I had fun, but then I organized my fun when I was done, hah!

Fast-forward to 2004 when I became a Professional Organizer. It was one of those a-ha moments when I realized this was a profession and that it was the perfect fit for me. I set up my own business called Conquering Chaos Consulting, and I worked with clients on mail and filing systems, closets, craft spaces, home offices, basements, bedrooms, kitchens…you name it.

I then spent 20 years in the corporate world, during which I obtained my PMP certification, which is the world’s leading project management credential. Through this certification as well as years of experience designing and executing projects big and small, I’ve adopted a mindset of viewing goals—both personal and professional—as projects, and by breaking them down into phases and tasks, over time, dreams get done.

For example, I am passionate about travel and experiencing other cultures. When I decide on my next place to go, I make a project out of it and write out all the actions I need to take to get there. Then, little by little, I fit the actions into my schedule and do them.

It’s how I’ve been to 49 countries so far and, in addition to the US, have lived in Chile for study abroad, France for an internship and England while I got my master’s degree. (All pre-internet, mind you, so the action steps were harder to do!)

I wanted to get married in Europe…so I did! St. Ludmila Basilica, Prague, Czechia, October 2008

I mention all this because over time, I’ve found ways to meet my goals and organize my time and things for a happier and simpler life, and now I want to share my gifts and enthusiasm with others. I want to spark in you the vision of just how much is possible when you have a clear goal and an organized plan to achieve it.

And so, in 2024, I realized that my purpose on this planet is to bring order to chaos and to help others live happier, simpler and fulfilled lives. I completed a training program to learn how to become a life coach, I set up Slay the Day Coaching, and I am on my way to becoming an Associate Credentialed Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the worldwide accrediting body for life coaching.

My secret sauce is my unique blend of professional organizing, productivity and life coaching techniques and strategies to empower you to live a more simple, organized and productive life and realize your dreams.

I love helping create systems for spaces, stuff, tasks and goals that fit your lifestyle and help you live in more ease and flow. I get so excited when I see a client making progress towards something they’ve wanted for a long time. And I enjoy cheering you on when you are in your state of flow, releasing things that were bogging you down and feeling happier and more at ease.

Together, we can move mountains…or volcanoes, take your pick!

Now that you know a bit about me, what about you? What’s your dream or goal that you have struggled to start? Are there areas of your home or office that overwhelm you? Ready to purge or downsize, but just the thought of it freaks you out? Or are you stuck in a pattern of doom scrolling and want to make more of your precious time?

Give me a shout or better yet, set up a free Goal Call to fill me in and find out how we can best collaborate to slay your stuck feeling and get your dreams DONE!
